|EUPSA/IPEG/ESPES COLORECTAL SYMPOSIUM 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Colorectal problems in children are extremely common. Congenital diagnoses such as
anorectal malformations and Hirschsprung disease challenge the pediatric surgeon in
the newborn period, at the time of definitive reconstruction, and as the child develops. In
additional functional constipation and spinal disorders often require surgical treatments.
The goal of this session is to handle this comprehensive topic.
EUPSA NEONATAL SURGERY MASTERCLASS 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
This Course is designed to cover various aspects of surgery in newborn and premature infants. The essential areas covered will be assessment of neonatal pathology, diagnostics and decision making, focus on investigation, planning of procedures, emergency care management, surgical options with outcomes and postoperative care along with recommendations. The topics covered will be abdominal wall defects, intestinal atresias and malrotation, esophageal atresia, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, necrotizing enterocolitis, anorectal malformations, hepatobilairy pathologies and congenital pulmonary airway malformations.
|IPEG MASTERY LEARNING SERIES™ HANDS-ON COURSE 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Thoracoscopic Lobectomy and Thoracoscopic Esophageal Atresia with Tracheoesophageal Fistula Repair
This course is designed for pediatric surgeons seeking advanced minimally invasive
skills for thoracoscopic lobectomy and tracheoesophageal fistula repair. Participants will
dive deep into these specific skills and techniques of expert minimally invasive pediatric
surgeons. This is a non CME Session.
|IPEG MASTERY LEARNING UROLOGY™ HANDS-ON COURSE W/ ESPES 8:00 am – 12:00pm
This advanced hands-on course is designated for pediatric surgeons and pediatric
urologists seeking advanced minimally invasive skills for laparoscopic dismembered
pyeloplasty. Participants will be given the opportunity to intensively experience
techniques, skills and experts knowledge and tricks in a surgically modified animal tissue
model for laparoscopic dismembered pyeloplasty. This is a non CME Session.
|EUPSA/IPEG/ESPES ESSENTIALS HANDS-ON COURSE 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
This is a course designed to provide effective training tools in Minimally Invasive Surgery
(MIS). All participants will work in pairs in each station and will be guided personally
by a faculty who will work with participants exhaustively on ergonomics, bimanual and
eye-hand coordination, teamwork, precision skills and basics for suturing intra and
extracorporeally, all with inanimate models specially designed and adapted for this
course, providing accurate advice, tricks and all their teaching expertise to participants.
This course aims to provide the participants with the foundations for an effective learning
curve and the solid and safe development of minimally invasive surgery. This is a non CME Session.
TERMS & CANCELLATION
• All accepted abstract presenters are required to register for the full Congress in order to be published in the program and journal.
• Payment in full must accompany registration form.
• Advanced registration ends April 15, 2020.
• Cancellations must be submitted in writing before May 29, 2020 to receive a refund minus a $85 administrative fee.
• No refunds will be granted after May 29, 2020 for no-shows at the Congress; Mastery Courses & Lectures; or unused portions of the meeting.
• Euro € pricing is an approximate guesstimate using $1.15 = €1.00, depending upon prevailing exchange rate.
• All transactions will be processed by U.S. bank in U.S. dollar.
